What was your first pet? How old were you when you got it? What did/do you like about it? Do you have some funny stories regarding your first pet? Write away :)
Zosephine Edna. She was born when I was 6 months old, and we euthanized her two years ago.
Zoe and I grew up together. I saw her best dog days. The cutest, most irritating thing she ever did was bark if a car even turned around in our drive way. I miss her.
First pet was Rusty, a Irish Setter. I dont remember him much, except riding him like a horse when I was 2-3. He was put down when I was 6, he had bone cancer =(
Well, technically Schatzie our cat was my first pet, but she's been around since before I was born.
Dante was the next pet, and I paid for him myself. So I guess in a way he's my first pet anyway. I was a horse mad ten year old and my parents said if I wanted a horse I had to buy one myself. So I did. :D
He turned out to be more than I could handle in the end, and ten years older than we thought he was, so he'd be too hard to train for eventing which I wanted to compete in. I still own him, though; serves as a lovely companion horse for the others. :D
My 1st pet was fishes, when I was a baby. Actually my dad had a huge tank and we had dozens of fishes, but I was not fan; I barely remember them. And I have no big stories about them :D
The next pet I had afterwards, my husky, Largo, who was a great dog. He was scared of brooms and hoovers ('cause of their previous breeders) but he still loved to do wild things: chasing-killing-giving me birds, chasing my friend's cats, trying to talk, singing along with me, sleeping with my rat... he was a bit weird :D
I loved his nose 'cause it was pink and black and I couldn't stop kissing it :D As well as his soooft ears and big paws XD
I loved teasing him like tickling his palate and in between his toes :D
My first pet was Georgie, a bull terrier cross doggie. My parents had her before I was born. She had to be put down two years ago. She was so old and got a really bad chest infection or something. She couldn't breathe or walk. I have pictures of her in front of me on the wall.
