Dog Running for the Next Governor of Texas

When "The X-Files" peaked in the middle 1990's, you couldn't help but notice "The truth is out there" slogan flashing from the screen. Instead of "truth" we can say "politics" 'cause those two things are out there. This news features both truth and politics. No matter how weird it might sound but politics has become part of the animal world. 

Skimming through the annals of Texas political candidates, nothing unusual - human beings. Until now. Woodrow, a 5 year old mutt is now running for a governor of Texas. 

Funnily but Woodrow, as in Wilson has everything to be a candidate - he's been a state resident for at least 5 years and is 35. Woodrow's owner says that his votes will be insignificant but their goal is clear - "publicize the many thousands of sick or unwanted dogs that are being euthanized in Texas".
