Wedding of the Year - Bruna and Lui

Rio de Janeiro carnival is nothing compared to the Brazilian wedding of Bruna and Lui, the two Yorkshire Terriers. Their owners, or pet lovers spent around £6,000 so their 4-legged friends could have a remarkable ceremony. More than 200 dogs and pet lovers gathered to see the newlyweds barking their vows and placing their paws on the official registry documents.

"Bruna and Lui get along well. Bruna is usually very agitated, but she doesn't bark when she is near him. He wants very much to be close to her, and she also wants to be near him - I feel that, I can see that", said Lui's owner.

The bride Bruna and the groom Lui had a special canine cake which was a threat to ruin Bruna's £270 worth dress. But something else was pounding on their owners' minds - honeymoon.

"We have been thinking and it should be in July when she will be in heat, the ideal time for them to mate. And if everything works out right, I'll have a little puppy arriving soon, one more for the family", said Bruna's owner.
