Owner Dyed Cat Pink to Match Her Hair

Natasha Gregory, the 22 year old mother of two dyed her cat pink out of fun, just to match her pink colored hair. The idea to dye the naturally white cat named Oi! Kitty pink, came from a TV show. Natasha had bought food coloring then started experimenting.

"It's my favourite colour, I love it. I've dyed my hair pink and I adore pink clothes. Turning Oi! Kitty pink seemed like a good idea. I always wanted a pink animal - a bit like my hair. I read the instructions on the food colouring and there was nothing that would harm humans or animals. We eat the food the dye is used on, so I knew it wasn't toxic," she said.

A veterinarian who is now caring for the cat said that Oi! Kitty was colored so brightly and almost glowing in the dark.
