Bear was a surprise kitty we had no intention of getting. I went out to my car one day, and I heard meowing coming from under my car's hood. I opened it up, and snuggled underneath wires and car parts was a little ball of grey fuzz. He looked calm and cuddly, so I reached down to try and help him out. Big mistake, he went nuts and scratched and bit and it was chaos. Hours later, with the help of my mom, my boyfriend's mom and a can of kitty food, we lured him out and he calmed down. We originally planned to take him to an animal shelter, but he was just so cute that we had to keep him and he's been happily ours ever since.
Bear got his name because of the way he stands up on his hind legs when he wants to look like a macho man. :p
