I got her in spring 2009, a little while after my two roborovski hamsters died. I had sworn I wouldn't get any more little pets after them, but I just missed having something little to mother. Pepper is my little Lazerus, named so because I thought she'd died in Feb 2010, but the next day found her running around her cage-temporary hibernation maybe?
